PhoPa Gallery exhibits (Pho)tography and works on (Pa)per, with a special focus on emerging Maine artists rarely seen in Portland. PhoPa is a collaboration among photographer Jon Edwards, independent curator Bruce Brown, and Maine Media Workshops + College (MMW+C). The gallery divides its schedule between showcasing works by MMW+C students, alumni, and faculty and curated solo and group exhibitions featuring selected Maine artists. All profits from sales at PhoPa are donated to MMW+C, a 501c3 non-profit educational organization.
First Friday of the Month (Art Walk): 5-8pm
Also available by appointment.
If you are interested in visiting the gallery but unable to come during weekly hours, you may schedule an appointment by emailing email@example.com.

PhoPa is not currently accepting submissions for exhibitions. We are in the process of revising our submission system so as to better support the capacity of our staff and also provide artists the kind of timely, helpful feedback we would like to be able to offer. Please stay tuned for updated submission guidelines, instructions, and deadlines.
